Join me for a relaxed stroll along a beautiful stretch of Canada's rugged West Coast! Immerse yourself in the soothing sights and sounds of this pristine wilderness, with the Pacific on one side and ancient forest on the other. Along the way, I speak softly about some of the plants and scenery we encounter. Sounds include crunching gravel, wind, rustling leaves, and gentle waves. Apologies in advance for the shaky camera, I'm going to have to find a way to stabilize it in future. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy it! ----- What's ASMR, and why am I whispering? ----- I whisper in my videos because they're intended to trigger a sensation known as ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response). ASMR is a very specific feeling that some people experience when they hear certain soft sounds, like whispering and tapping, or see certain visuals, like deliberate hand motions. It's often described as a pleasant tingling in the head and neck, accompanied by a sense of calmness and mild euphoria. Many people watch ASMR videos to help them relax or fall asleep.
