Winter Games 13 - Womens SLOPESTYLE

Another white out day wasn't about to stop these rad chicks from having fun! They made sure to stick together, and keep warm by busting out some shapes right in the middle of the pea soup while waiting to be given the green light to compete. We were stoked to hear from a few of the girls in protest against the human rights atrocities and massively unethical discrimination against homosexuals in Russia, especially in light of the upcoming 2014 winter olympics in Sochi. Apologies for the sound in the interview, it was mad windy :-)

All in all, awesome day, even when you couldn't see the colour of your own gloves through the cloud, thanks to an amazing group of athletes, and human beings! From the Winter Games report:

"US snowboard star, Jamie Anderson rewarded the patience of a passionate Cardrona crowd with a stunning display of slopestyle riding today at the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ. Team GB’s Jenny Jones took silver with Cheryl Maas scooping bronze for the Netherlands."
