Ben Sherman Plectrum Sessions // Tenderfist - “Kicking And Screaming”

Tenderfist is a cross between dreamy jangly, indiepop and electronic synth pop and was formed somewhere in between 2006 and 2008 by Edzwan, Faiq and Nazri. They described themselves as awkward musicians who love pop melodies and bad recordings. The name doesn't have any special meaning behind them and were taken from a typography/graphic design magazine called Textfield. The bassist, Imran joined the band later in 2012.

They have released a slew of bedroom recordings during their early days, an EP (This Wasted Heart) in 2011 and recently their first album "Tourist Car" in October 2012. They have performed in clubs, living rooms, art galleries and festivals, sometimes sharing them with their favorite bands and musicians.

Ben Sherman is pleased to present Tenderfist as part of the 2013 Plectrum Sessions. In this exclusive video watch Tenderfist put on a brilliant live performance of “Kicking and Screaming” from their album entitled “A Tourist Car” and hear them talk about their upcoming music journey.
