Heart for the House - Planted or Plucked?

Happy nine year Destiny!
And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church. The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence. – Ephesians 1:20-23 (MSG)

Quote: It’s Impossible to be UP on Jesus and DOWN on His Church

THE FATHER’S HOUSE AND THE FATHER’S HEART
20 “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ 22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. 23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry. – Luke 15:20-24 (NKJV)
OUR HEARTS
“And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’” – LUKE 15:31-32 (NKJV)
But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” – JOSHUA 24:15B (NKJV)
So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” – ACTS 16:31 (NKJV)

BELIEVE MEANS: Being Fully Convinced without any doubt

PLANTED OR PLUCKED?
13 Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing – Psalms 92:13-14 (NKJV)

Planted (In Hebrew: Shatal) Means – To Transplant a Tree to where it can be deeply rooted
Flourish Means: To Live Extravagant, Fully Matured and Grown Out
Fresh Means: To have the right soil ready to produce and having the right temperature

But the seed (HARVEST IN ITS EMBRYONIC FORM) falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” – Matthew 13:23 (NKJV)

HAVING A HEART FOR HIS HOUSE

1. DON’T ALLOW THE THORNS OF PEOPLE TO PLUCK YOU OUT OF GOD’S PURPOSES FOR YOUR LIFE
“‘But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live. – NUMBERS 33:55 (NIV)

“Since you listened to your wife and ate from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat, the ground is cursed because of you. All your life you will struggle to scratch a living from it, It will grow thorns and thistles for you, though you will eat of its grains. – Genesis 3:17-18 (NLT)

2. DON’T ALLOW YOUR SOIL (LIFE) TO GET HARD TOWARDS GOD’S HOUSE AND HIS PEOPLE
3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.” – MATTHEW 13:3-9 (NIV)
