Binetti F/W 2011

Diego Binetti F/W 2011 presentation at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week took place in the Studio. Upon entering there was a large platform stage in the center of the room with chain linked wire hands hanging from the ceiling. In the far corner stood a set for photo shot. Here the models would appear and pose to be photographed then they would move to the center platform and strike a pose. By the end of the preview - all the models were on the center platform.

The collection itself was an intricate array of mixed materials and fabrics creating...a stunningly beautiful presentation. Sequins, tie-dye, metallics made up some of the multi-patch trousers and box dresses. Off the shoulder dresses and hankercheif caftans, angel wing dresses, overcoats and draped dolman sleeve blouses were all parts that made up the whole. This collection was about the elegance of the woman. The true celebration of beauty.

One common thread throughout the line was the head wear. Accessories were well thought out and outspoken. Perez Sanz designed the jewelery which consisted of floating rings with long ostrich feathers, dangling earrings and statement necklaces. Purses were created out of horns and tassel belts cinched the waists from caftans to pants.

The models wore textured hose and shoes designed by Giuseppi Zanotti. Eye wear was provided by Silhoutte.

The Binetti collection will be available at select Neiman Marcus Stores nationwide.
