The Sight We See An EPFC Collaborative Film - 3pm (with live band) Directed By Sharmaine Starks
The Sight We See is an EPFC collaborative film Project that explores Los Angeles in 24 hours. This year EPFC was commissioned to explore the historic area in Los Angeles called Echo Park. Each Filmmaker selected was to take an hour and examine a particular location in Echo Park. This film would become a 24 hour look at Echo Park once all of the short films from each Filmmaker were compiled. All shot on 16mm each hour is represented by 1 minute of film and the end result is a 24 minute short film of exploration. This year the film was presented at the annual Lotus Festival in Echo Park during an outdoor community screening accompanied by an amazing live band! My hour was the 3 O'Clock hour Featuring Rosarelly A. Cruz. This is the projected cut of the film and even though some of the cut aways of the atmosphere were omitted for projection purposes you can hear a sample of the live band that accompanied the piece.
